I am an Oklahoma City photographer that specializes in family, child, graduating senior and vacation portraits. With over eleven years of professional photography experience and seven years as a public school educator, you are in good hands.

my story

I am first and foremost a wife (20+ years, wowza) and mother to our two children. As a family we love traveling, hiking, good food and exploring local events in OKC. We are always on the go and are often described as adventurous & happy.

I dusted off my camera skills as a new mother over a decade ago, determined to freeze time just a little. I didn't want forced, posed photos. I wanted to look at an image I had taken and remember the sound of my children's genuine giggles and playfulness in the moment. The pictures I hang on my walls are just that—a true memory for our family. Not forced, bribed, or bargained for.

What I want for my own family is what I want for my clients.

Does that sound impossible to you? It's not! I promise! You see, before I became a professional photographer I was an elementary school teacher. I learned to think on my feet quickly with kids, yet also appreciate the moment. My photography sessions are a lot of playing around, movement, and fun.

A look back on the past decade that brought me to where I am today.

2014

In February of 2014 I was a momma to two and decided to turn my hobby into a legit business.

2016

I expanded into teaching other professional photographers. I taught at Click Away Seattle, Color INC Pro in Grand Rapids and many workshops in Dallas.

2017

Expanded into worldwide 🌎 travel. I have photographed clients in Banff, Bali, New York City, 30A, Seattle, and L.A.

2019

Our family made the big move from Dallas to OKC. Our families are here & it is so good to be with them, but I would be lying if I said I didn't desperately miss my Dallas friends.

2024

B-I-G growth year. Expanded into event photography, headshots & corporate partnerships. Began photographing events for Downtown OKC and fell in love with photography all over again.

2005

I taught Third Grade for years and loved every minute of working with children and families.
