1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Missy Mayo Photography provides professional photography services, including but not limited to family portraits, high school senior photography, commercial photography, event photography, headshots, and travel sessions. These Terms govern all interactions with our website and services.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All content on this Site, including but not limited to photographs, text, graphics, logos, and digital downloads, is the property of Missy Mayo Photography and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any content without prior written consent.
Use any images or content for commercial purposes without a licensing agreement.
Remove any copyright notices or watermarks from images.
✅ You May:
Share our blog posts, images, and website content with proper credit and a direct link to our website.
Pin images from our Site to Pinterest as long as the original source is credited.
Unauthorized use of our images may result in legal action.
3. BOOKING, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATION POLICY
3.1 Session Booking & Payment
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. This is for the time and talent of the photographer and does not include any photographic digital files, prints or products. After the session date, the client will choose one of three digital file and gift print credit options.
Payments are accepted via cash, check, credit card, and online money transfer.
3.2 Rescheduling & Cancellations
Reschedules due to illness or emergencies must be requested at least 24 hours in advance to transfer the retainer to a new date.
No-shows or last-minute cancellations will forfeit the retainer and require a new booking to reschedule.
In the event of bad weather for outdoor sessions, a reschedule date will be provided.
4. PHOTO DELIVERY & IMAGE USAGE
4.1 Image Editing & Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround for digital images is 3 weeks from the session date.
All images are professionally edited, and raw (unedited) files will not be provided.
Additional editing requests may incur extra fees.
4.2 Digital Image Rights
Clients receive personal-use rights to digital images for printing, sharing on social media, and personal use.
Images may not be altered with filters, retouching apps, or AI-generated edits.
Commercial/business clients will receive licensing terms per project agreement.
5. SOCIAL MEDIA & PROMOTIONAL USE
By booking a session, you grant Missy Mayo Photography the right to use images for marketing, portfolio, website, and social media unless otherwise requested in writing before the session.
If you prefer privacy and do not want your images used publicly, please email [Insert Email Address] before your session.
6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients are responsible for arriving on time and fully prepared for their session.
Outfits, hair, and makeup are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise arranged.
If a child is photographed, a parent or guardian must be present for the session.
Clients are expected to review and follow wardrobe and session preparation guidelines provided by Missy Mayo Photography.
7. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
Missy Mayo Photography is not liable for personal injury, damage to personal property, or unexpected circumstances that may occur during the photo session.
If technical failures (e.g., camera malfunction, memory card corruption) result in loss of images, liability is limited to a refund of the session fee or a reshoot at no charge.
By booking a session, the client agrees to hold harmless Missy Mayo Photography from any claims related to their participation in the session.
8. REFUNDS & SATISFACTION POLICY
Due to the custom nature of photography, all session fees and digital image purchases are final and non-refundable.
If you are unsatisfied with your images, we will work with you to find a solution, such as minor retouching adjustments or a discounted reshoot (at our discretion).
