A few years ago, I photographed the sweetest family of three in Dallas. Fast forward through a few moves, a couple of new kiddos, and yes, a few extra smile lines for all of us — and I found myself standing on their ranch in South Texas, camera in hand, surrounded by acres of open sky and sunlit grass that glowed gold in the breeze.
To back up, we both had several moves between the last time we saw each other – but they found me here in Oklahoma City and asked if I was willing to travel for their family photo session. Of course! My great loves in life (aside from my own family) are photography and traveling…. and it makes so much sense to hire a photographer you already know, love their work and trust.
So in the beginning of the summer, I road-tripped south for an epic family travel photoshoot, down to their ranch home in South Texas.
Dad built that home himself, by the way. You could feel the pride for their beautiful home, and how it was built for lifetime memories. A huge kitchen island to gather around, acres of tree to climb – it wasn’t just a house; it was their story.
That’s what I adore about a travel photoshoot — it captures your family’s chapter right where life happens. It’s not about hunting down a “Pinterest-perfect” location. It’s about being in a space that feels like you — familiar and meaningful.

When you invite me to photograph your family somewhere special, you’re not just booking a photographer — you’re inviting me into your story. Whether it’s the family ranch waiting for generations of laughter, your new home after a big move, or that little slice of coastline where your kids learned to skip rocks, your travel photoshoot is all about connection to a location that is meaningful to YOU.
There’s something so magical about photographing people in places that hold meaning for them. The comfort shows up in the smiles, the ease in the body language, the sparkle in the eyes. It’s not just a session — it’s a celebration of the places that shape us.

Let’s be honest — the word “travel” can make any parent’s pulse race. (Packing everyone’s clothes, researching family friendly activities, long hours in the car or plane — I see you.) But I promise, your travel photoshoot won’t feel like chaos.
From the first message to the final gallery, I’ve got you. I’ll handle communication quickly, help you plan outfits that make sense for your location, and guide you through an easy, joyful experience that lets you just be.
Your only job? Show up, laugh a little, snuggle your people, and let me take care of the rest.
A photo session at a location you are already love eases that burden even more. Whether it is photographing your family at your home, your favorite beach or on an epic vacation, a meaningful location naturally elevates your photos.
(Pro tip: snacks help. For everyone.)

There’s something truly timeless about photographs that honor who you are — not what’s trending. My goal for every travel photoshoot is to create images that still feel right decades from now.
My editing style is clean and classic — colors that feel real, light that flatters naturally, emotion that you can feel through the screen. You won’t see filters that scream “2025.” You’ll see you, beautifully and authentically captured.
Because when you look back, I want you to remember what it felt like — the warmth of the sun, the sound of laughter, the smell of the grass — not dated editing trends.

If you’ve recently moved, started a new chapter, or simply want to mark this season before it shifts into the next — this is for you.
A travel photoshoot helps tell the story of who your family is right now. It captures the messy, beautiful, in-between moments you’ll want to remember later. And if I’ve photographed you before, you know I’ll make it simple, natural, and (dare I say it) actually fun.

Senior year deserves more than a cookie-cutter backdrop. Your senior session should feel personal — a visual time capsule of your life before the next big leap.
A travel photoshoot for seniors is a chance to choose a location that feels like you. Maybe it’s a destination at the top of your bucket list, a favorite family vacation spot, or just a stunning spot. Wherever it is, we’ll make it an unforgettable adventure to mark this milestone.
If you’re not based in Oklahoma City but find yourself drawn to my bold, magazine-style portraits and calm, genuine energy — that’s your sign. You don’t have to settle for “someone local.”
I travel often for sessions, and I love photographing families all over the world — from Texas ranchlands to Bali, Banff, NYC, 30A and more! A travel photoshoot lets you have the best of both worlds: the photographer who gets your family and a location that feels deeply personal.
A travel session isn’t just about the destination — it’s about you. But in case you need a little convincing, here’s why it’s one of my favorite types of sessions:
Every travel photoshoot becomes a visual journal entry — one that grows more valuable as the years pass.

You might be surprised by how effortless a travel photoshoot can feel.

If you’ve been dreaming about photos that feel like your life — not someone else’s Pinterest board — this is your sign. Whether it’s your family settling into a new home, your senior ready to take on the world, or simply a “because we can” kind of session, a travel photoshoot is the perfect way to capture it.
I’d be honored to travel wherever your story takes me — from Oklahoma City to South Texas and beyond.
