If you’re planning senior photos or graduation pictures at Oklahoma State University, you’re in for a session full of energy, pride, and that iconic orange. From the timeless backdrop of Edmon Low Library to the celebratory chaos around the Student Union fountain, campus offers some of the most meaningful locations to document the college send-off.
I’ve picked up a few helpful tips to make your Oklahoma State University Graduation Pictures look incredible!

1. Arrive Early (Like, Really Early)
Parking around the library and student union can be tricky, especially during graduation weekends or even just spring evenings. Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before your session start time to allow for parking, walking, and a minute to touch up before we start shooting.
2. Bring the Essentials
If you’re doing outfit changes, keep your wardrobe organized and quick to swap. There are bathrooms easily accessible for a quick change. A pair of flats for walking between spots is always smart— the campus does require a bit of walking to get around.
3. Know the Campus Classics
We’ll likely hit OSU’s most iconic spots:
4. A Note About The Fountain & Confetti
The fountain is one of the most popular photo spots on campus—especially during graduation weekend. You’ll likely see other seniors celebrating with champagne, confetti, or glitter. While I love capturing those joyful, high-energy moments, I don’t use physical confetti in sessions. It’s impossible to clean up and often litters the grounds.
Want that celebratory look? I’ve got you covered. I can add in confetti or glitter effects during editing for a clean, litter-free version that still feels festive.
5. It’s Totally Okay to Be Sentimental
Wear the t-shirt from your first game day. Your favorite orange heels would look great too! These little touches tell a fuller story, and they often make for the most meaningful photos.
6. Bring Business Attire
I always love to grab a few professional headshots for you, in addition to your graduation photos. Those headshots will be perfect for job interviews, your fresh new Linked In and that first “adult” job.

If you’re graduating from Oklahoma State University and want portraits that feel polished, personal, and anything but cookie-cutter, I’d love to work with you. I photograph seniors all across Oklahoma, including Stillwater, and offer everything from full sessions to mini add-ons for cap and gown, college reveals, and more.
